Nicinole , you where given a gold mine of great info from Carrie and threw it away
this 'bump' is not going to go away overnight, so the hot compresses, sea salt soaks and asprin paste [sparingly] for about three weeks and it will go away you cant rush things,. |

That's why I didn't bother to reply any more. I hate it when people ask for help and then ignore your advice.
New2theneedle: refer back to my post on page 1. Even though it's your lip, the same treatments will work. Just be careful not to get the tea tree oil or aspirin on any healthy tissue, and rinse well after about 5 minutes. |

take the advice girl!
i had after an industrial piercing a similar bump (hypertrophic scarring)... did nothing and four years later its still there (i don't mind it but you might?) Edited by stephdawn - December/27/2008 at 8:53pm |

I had something very similar to this on one of my cartilidge piercings about a year agao, and if I remember correctly, Carrie advised me what to do.
So I did the tea tree and sea salt thing and it worked wonders. It just takes a little patience. Listen woman!  |
