It was funny when I was talking to the piercer about the healing process. I asked him about showering and he smirked and laughed a little and said "yeah, your first shower will hurt bad, but it won't be unbearable". That's something I didn't even think about. I'm glad it's done now. Now I get to look foward to my second shower in a few hours :/

i feel (most of my customers agree) that both cutting and flesh peeling is pretty personal, unlike a tattoo...yet less painful at the same time.

The guy doing my cutting told me he hears that it is less painful than a tattoo. I don't have any tattoos though.

Just finished:

Second day:

It is now the third day and I'm finding some light black in a few spots of my cutting. Is that scabbing? Is that something to worry about or should I just keep cleaning like I'm usually doing, 2-4 times a day, peroxide, then wrap it. One shower at night with softsoap. Good?

stop wrapping it with suran wrap, you're building a barrier to keep heat and germs in. it's hard to say what specs in your cutting can be from, but i notice it's on your leg....do you wear black pants by any chance?
